Self-priming vacuum pumps

"DWW" series self-priming vacuum pumps

The DWW series is a range of single stage self-priming centrifugal pumps, vacuum assisted with horizontal shaft coupled to an electric motor or diesel engines. They are design for maximum reliability especially when used in the most extreme and arduous conditions.

Compact, reliable, versatile, easy to install and maintain these units are supplied with high performance wet ends with a vortex impeller with single or double channel. All units have double mechanical shaft seals with interposed oil chamber. A double support on the rotor promotes an excellent performance for all industrial applications.

The DWW range of pumps is built to handle water with solids in suspension including sand and mud. The special construction ensure that all models are suitable for several applications such as in civil and industrial works or wherever it is required to transfer clean and dirty water.

Supplied with vortex, single and double channel impellers specially design to handle waters with large and abrasive solids. Those impellers are available in different materials. A high abrasion resistance, oil lubricated mechanical seal allows the unit to operate dry running when the pumped fluid runs intermittently.

The self priming system is provided by the combination of the centrifugal pump and vacuum pump with the separator tank separating the air and pumped liquid. The pump is able to self prime to a maximum depth of 8.5m (geodetical suction lift). The vacuum system is provided by a NARP-Dry (membrane) pump available as a single (50 m3/hr) or as a twin (100 m3/hr) unit. No routing controls are require on those units.

Robustly construction the DWW pumps are built to last in heavy & arduous applications and are eminently suitable for use in hire fleets. All units are assembled on a heavy chassis with a built in fuel tank (330 litres) and sound proof canopy. Large lockable doors allows easy access to servicable parts and the control panels.

Assembly and chassis are made with long lasting materials and are design to easily move the equipment on site by using a forklift or a central lifting eye. Special sound proof material are used to reduce the noise profile. On request specific set up are available (i.e. road trailer, skid only, etc.)

A separate external tank can be attached to the unit working using the engine fuel pump increasing the unit running hours to suit the customers needs.
